Meet Mattie
NEED A NEW FOREVER HOME for MATTIE - an 8 year old Diabetic Cat!
Mattie was 8 years old at the end of May, 2018 and She is a Heinz 57 tortoise mix, part Maine Coon with big round eyes with a laidback personality. Don’t let her 15 lbs. fool you, she is all muscle.
She is a VERY loving and intelligent cat and loves to interact with her humans. We’ve known very few cats that will fetch, she is one of them. Her favorite toy is the ring from a mayonnaise jar. She will either entertain herself or engage you in the activity. She loves to get in the tub while you run a little water for her to get a fresh drink. Her purr motor is loud and long. Sometimes she sounds like little Miss Bubbles. She will only be a lap cat if it is HER idea. When it is her idea she will lie down and go to sleep on your lap.
She will do well in a home with other cats and even better by herself.
We are looking for an older person or persons with the time and the discretionary income to take over for the owners and provide her with a loving home.
