Meet Matilda
Meet Matilda. She is a domestic shorthair. We estimate her to be around a year old. She had a litter of four kittens in March. She is a very good momma, keeping track of the babies. She runs, wrestles, and plays with them. She monitors them and has “hissed” any other cats or our dog, when they come close. Now that the kittens are older, she pretty much ignores the dogs, but still doesn’t care for our older cats. Matilda has been spayed and is up to date on vaccines.
She follows us around, loves for you to lean down and pet her. She will let you pick her up and pet her—for about 10-15 seconds, then its back to the floor or into the window.
She loves her snacks. She eats both wet food and dry food. She is very thin, as she always waits for the kittens to eat before she does.
Matilda is good girl. If you can’t find her—just look down, she is probably laying at your feet.
She would do best as an only cat, or as fur sibling to an older cat who doesn’t move too fast.
Matilda would love to be part of your family! You can apply to adopt her at purple-paws.org.
Her adoption fee is $100.
