Matcha American Shorthair Thornton, CO

Matcha is a curious little girl!! She loves to rough house with her siblings and then fall asleep in a comfy blankie. She is cautious around new people at first, but she loves to play, and she takes her wand toys especially seriously. Once she trusts you, she’ll even let you rub her little pot belly.

Matcha was brought to her foster mom as part of a group of 10 kittens rescued from a feral cat colony in Houston. Even though the 10 kittens were not all siblings from the same litter, they have bonded as “littermates.” They are all so happy they get to be house cats! They’ve been taking care of each other, but they need your help! Matcha and her siblings are ready to find a safe and secure forever home.

Matcha is great with cats. She's never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a well-behaved dog we think she would love a new pup pal.

Matcha is currently ~8 weeks old, will be spayed prior to transport, is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health! She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home!

Matcha and one of her siblings would thrive in a home together! Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair or kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Matcha and her siblings (Tuna, Dumpling, Tofu, Sake, Soba, Noodle, Mochi, Wasabi, and Miso, all available for adoption) are currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along this route.
