Meet Mary - something about Mary!

Mary came to Freedom Farm Animal Rescue in December 2020 when a Good Samaritan witnessed a pregnant Mary being thrown from the window of a moving car. On 12/30/20 Mary gave birth to 7 babies in her foster home. Unfortunately, only 2 babies survived. When Mary had her spay surgery, the vet also repaired her prolapsed rectum. Because of her prolapsed rectum, Mary needs to be on a special high fiber food. Because of the way Mary was treated and the trauma she endured, she initially had a hard time trusting humans. After healing from surgery, lots of time, patience, and hard work, Mary started to trust again. Mary needs to go to a home where she is the only animal. No other cats, dogs or young children. Mary loves to be played with but is still learning to play gentle. She really loves to be petted and even likes to sit on your lap. She needs a home that will be patient with her and help her to continue gaining trust in people. Please help Mary find her forever home with loving humans to call her own!
