Meet Mary Jean
Mary Jean (MJ) showed up a few years ago and joined a small feral colony that a dear, elderly lady was feeding. MJ was in really bad shape (her jaw was out of place and her teeth were badly infected). After the Good Samaritan that was feeding her passed away, the feral cats were trapped. It was realized that MJ was not truly feral. This sweet, senior kitty just had a really rough life. We don’t know her past, but her future will be safe and secure now that she’s part of HART. She received vet care and had a dental. She only has 2 teeth left, but she eats hard food just fine (though her tongue does hang out of her mouth a lot...derp!). MJ is a very low maintenance girl that just needs a quiet home to love on her. She spends most her days curled up in her bed & absolutely loves to be pet once she settles in. For being approx 10 yrs old, she still has playful spurts too and loves cat toys. MJ does well around other cats. She hasn’t been dog tested but would likely be fine with a small, chill dog that gives her space.
Please consider giving this sweet, senior girl a forever home...she still has a lot of love and life to give.
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer. Thanks!
