What is Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society’s adoption process?
Adoption The MRFRS adopts out adult cats and kittens. All of our cats and kittens up for adoption come with over $500 in veterinary treatment including being: spayed or neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and given an overall wellness exam by our vet. All cats come with a 14-Day Health Warranty. Adult cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV; kittens under 6 months of age are tested for Feline Leukemia. Our cats also have a lifetime guarantee of a home with us, should the need ever arise. We are currently doing all adoptions virtually, so meeting the cats and kittens will be done through pictures, videos, and potentially Zoom meetings.
