Meet Mary
Mary is not a lap cat but would make a wonderful companion cat for a young cat in an existing household. It could show her, by example, what she is experiencing is okay. She is very social with the 3 cats she lives with in her foster home.
Mary is about a three 1/2 years old, she loves playing with other cats and her toys, she fun to watch, when she isn't snoozing in a sunny spot. Her story is typical of a cat on the streets fending for itself: hungry, scared, looking for a warm place to sleep, then eventually pregnant at the age of 5-6 months. Mary was lucky, a caring man rescued her and found NWAC, a rescue group, that would take her. She has been spayed, tested, vaccinated and m-chipped. After her kittens were weaned, they were adopted and will not have to experience what she did as a kitten.
Mary has come a long way from when she arrived at her foster home. When she first arrived, she chose to live under the bed, she now sleeps on the sofa, or any where she wants, and spends most of her time in the living areas. However, her person will need to have patience with her and give her the time to continue flowering at her speed. Her foster mom knows Mary will make someone a wonderful fur-baby if she is given the opportunity. She is a work in progress, but worth it.
The $125 adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines for their age, Negative test for FIV and FeLV.
