Meet Marty

Cat Tales pulled Marty from ACCT in Philadelphia. We were told his owner had died and that's how Marty ended up in that situation. Thankfully, Cat Tales has a foster home that enjoys fostering CH kitties. Marty has A Neurological Disorder called Cerebellar Hypoplasia, also known as CH and wobbly cat syndrome, is a neurological disorder that causes sudden jerky movements, uncoordinated motion and loss of balance. In a CH cat, the brain does not develop properly. This can happen when the pregnant mother has feline panleukopenia virus (feline distemper) and passes the virus along to her unborn offspring. CH is neither contagious nor painful.

Don't let Marty's CH fool you, he is just like any other cat in that he doesn't require any special treatment. He's just a little wobbly. Marty has also previously been declawed.

Marty is as playful as he is loving. He enjoys playing with a string toy (wand), but also loves lying next to his person getting all the lovin'. He loves being with his people.

*****If this profile is active on Petfinder, the kitty is still available and has not already been approved for adoption. You do not need to message to ask us if the kitty is still available.*****

If you are interested in adopting this kitty, please submit an application online at www.CatTalesInc.org and a Cat Tales Adoption Application Review Team member will contact you within 72 hours by email to begin processing your application and answer any questions you have.

All kitties from Cat Tales will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped before they go to their homes. Please note that most kittens are not big/old enough for spay/neuter until they reach approximately 12 or 13 weeks. Most kittens posted here are below that age, so please note their DOB here and understand that they will not be ready for adoption until they have been fully vetted.
