Martin Domestic Short Hair Raritan, NJ

Martin was humanely trapped on Martin Luther King day and therefore affectionately named Martin. This guy was too sweet and beautiful to let go back to the outside elements so our dedicated foster has helped him to blossom into a house cat! Although Martin is only 5 months old (at the time of this writing - 3/7/21), he is very 'chill'. The foster can barely get him to chase a wand toy! LOL!! Martin will run a few feet and flop down for pets and belly rubs. He loves attention from his foster mom and affectionately chirps and purrs constantly so that the attention doesn't stop. Adorable.

Martin i s still nervous with the foster's cat savvy dogs but will still settle on her lap. So a cat loving dog may be okay for Martin. He is not crazy about being held is great with lap sitting. We think that the best home for Martin would be quieter home - we're thinking children over 14 or a single couple without kids. In his quiet foster home, Martin greets his 'mom' with meows and chirps. He plays very well independently but is now asking for more humane attention ... Yah!
