-Can Live with Dogs: Marjorie would likely prefer not to share her home with any large, rambunctious dogs. She may be able to tolerate a very mellow, small/senior dog who won't bother her too much! She will need a slow, supervised introductory period to any dogs in the home.
-Can Live with Kids: No, because I am so nervous around commotion, I need a calm, lowkey, adult-only home.
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Yes
-History of Litter Box Issues: In her small kennel, Marjorie can be a little messy with her litter box. She appears to use the box consistently, but typically kicks litter everywhere and drags her blankets in the box. Once she's settled in her new home environment with lots of space to do her business, we don't expect she'll have any issues.
-Energy Level: Low
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a spay.
Additional Information: Marjorie Fischer is a shy lady who originally came to the shelter as a stray after being caught in a trap out in the county. It took her a long time for her to adjust to shelter life, and she spent the first couple weeks hiding in her bed. Once she realized she was safe and being cared for, she has started to open up more and more! She loves chin/cheek scritches from her favorite people, but prefers not to be picked up and carried. She would do great in a calm, low-traffic home with 1 or 2 people who enjoy lounging around the house watching Netflix or reading a book. Marjorie is a gentle soul who is still learning to trust humans. She would love a patient, cat-experienced adopter who can give her all the time she needs to adjust!
