Mario is a one-year-old, loving cat looking for his forever home! Mario is energetic, friendly, affectionate, and playful. He loves attention. He will try to head-butt and cuddle as much as he can while purring constantly. He may also try to grab people's hands to pull them to his head. He has so much energy that he can hardly stay still. He tends to sprint around if he is bored and has excess energy. He wants to be where people are and will meow if he can't get to them. He can be timid sometimes and takes time to get used to unfamiliar things but, he's confident once he feels comfortable.

He enjoys chasing feather toys and lasers the most. He also likes to chew on small toys and use scratching posts. He likes to look out the window and lounge on the bed or in the sink. Mario's energy level is high and he has two to four 10-minute play sessions with a feather toy each day.

He currently lives in a townhome with the foster, and another resident cat. He would ideally live in an active home where he can receive lots of love and attention and play often. It would also be best to have another social and friendly cat residing in the home to play and cuddle with.

Mario will need to have his ears wiped with an antiseptic flush once a month to prevent ear infections. He tends to dig aggressively in his litterbox so it would be best to have covered litter boxes to minimize mess. He gets along well with other cats. Dogs and kids are unknown but he is very friendly and affectionate so they may get along if they are gentle and patient towards him.

Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
