Meet Mariah
Mariah is a 1.5-year-old sweet and calm kitty looking for her forever home!
Mariah can take a short amount of time to warm up to new people, but she welcomes pets and asks for affection if you approach her calmly. She is an independent girl who is happy to hang out by herself in a sunbeam in the catio or take a nap up in the cat tree. She has a slight bobtail that she was born with that adds to her already cute personality. She has been a loving mama with another mama to their 10 kittens and is ready to be pampered in a home of her own.
Mariah loves to spend most of the day and night catching up on sleep since she spent the last three months raising adorable kittens. She loves to watch the birds from the catio and nap in a warm sunbeam, and When she gets comfortable, her playful side can make a short appearance while she plays with cat wands and ball track toys.
Mariah's exercise needs are pretty minimal. She is mostly about relaxing and enjoying life. If you can offer to play for a few minutes once a day and give her places to look out windows and sunbathe, she will be a happy girl.
Mariah currently lives in a foster home with other cats, dogs, and older children. She spends most of her time hanging out downstairs with her remaining babies but ventures upstairs to bask in the sunshine out in the catio. She does well with kittens and even plays with them but isn’t a super big fan of adult cats, preferring to coexist.
Mariah would love a calmer home where she can spend her days being loved and relaxing. She would be ok with friendly cats or dogs and older children. Apartments would be ok if she is the only kitty or another animal gave her space to relax.
