Meet Marguerite
Marguerite lost her home because a dog was making her life miserable. She was scared and hiding in the home, and this behaviour has continued in the shelter. It is going to take a lot of time and patience to restore her trust and give her the confidence to live out in the open again. When we lay down on the floor and seek Marguerite in the cubby where she hides, she will come out and then she simply loves the pets and attention. We hope she will find a quiet home of her own soon, but we will provide her a safe space in the meantime.
