Marengo, Spanish for dark gray, is the name of this handsome deep gray male with beautiful green eyes. Estimated to be about eight years old, this sweet boy was found abandoned and starving before a kind person took him in for care and safety. According to his rescuer, he was so weak when he was found, he was wobbling when he walked. After some months of life in foster care, he is back to a healthy and happy weight and is ready for his new home. Perfect for an older adopter, he loves to be brushed and would be great with grandchildren! When he receives pets and rubs, he purrs like a fine tuned motor, which is a sign of his affection and contentment.
