Feb 19, 2013 - Marbles and Brie found their forever home today. We are happy that these sisters were able to stay together and we wish them a happy life with their new family.
Here is their story: - Marbles and her sister Brie were born around Oct 15, 2012 and were placed in a CRN foster home in January 2013. Here is what their foster parents have to say about them:
"Marbles, a big fur ball is the sweetest kittens I have had the privilege of fostering. When she and her sister Brie, also posted on the website, arrived they were very scared and took comfort in each other. When something startled Marbles, she fought the instinct to hide until she found her sister and they would hide together - ensuring the others safety before their own.
Marbles is still unsure of being held and loud of noises but loves to sit beside you when her sister is in your lap; she really enjoys scratches under the chin and above her tail.Provided with a nurturing home, Marbles will grow into an extremely loving and comforting cat.
The beginning of Marble's life was not an easy one and the only comfort she had was in her sister Brie. Because of this they have a unique bond that should be allowed to continue. We feel these two devoted sisters should be adopted together."
This is the kittens' background story:-) Marbles & Brie were two wee kittens found hiding in a culvert in the country with their mother. Winter was fast approaching and freezing rain was forecast. The mother was a domestic cat and clearly did not know how to survive outside. The culvert would soon be filled with rushing, icy water and all would have been drowned.
Luckily they and their mother were easily trapped, and taken to a sanctuary. They were taken to a vet and given a clean bill of health. The kittens were placed in a Cat Rescue network foster home, when they were old enough to leave their mother.
