Meet Maple, Our Tiny Sunshine

Maple is a petite 4 year old orange tabby with the softest fur, long white whiskers, and eyes full of quiet wonder. At just 6 pounds, she’s a little cat with a big heart. Maple may be a bit shy when you first meet her, but once she feels safe, her gentle spirit shines through. She’ll reward your patience with sweet purrs, soft head bumps, and playful curiosity.

She was surrendered to us on May 2, 2025, and spayed shortly after on May 7. Despite all the recent changes in her life, she remains kind, calm, and oh-so-sweet! She loves fleece blankets, soft petting, and ball toys, and once she knows you, she truly comes out of her shell.

Maple is FeLV-positive, but don’t let that scare you!
Her result was very faint and she’ll need to be retested in 6 months.
What is FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus)?

It’s a virus that affects the immune system. While it can be serious, many FeLV+ cats live full and happy lives, especially in calm, indoor homes. FeLV is not contagious to humans or other pets, only to other cats, so Maple should either be your one-and-only or live with other FeLV+ kitties. Since Maple has been spayed, there are no geographical adoption restrictions.
