Mango came to us as a kitten in 2018 with her brother. They were orphaned, but thrived in our foster care and were adopted together by a loving family with young kids. As Mango got older, she began to show signs of wanting to be an only kitty in the household and fought with her brother over attention. She LOVED the adults in the house (the mom in particular) and wanted nothing more than to cuddle in her lap. Knowing that Mango wasn't living her best and happiest life in their home, they made the very difficult (but right) decision to bring her back to us.

Mango is a very affectionate girl that we would like to be adopted by a person or couple without young kids or other animals so that she can be the only princess that's doted on. She will be the best, most loyal companion to a lucky person or couple.

If you’re interested in adopting, please submit an online application on our website lapcats.org. That is the first step in our adoption process. LapCats are either in a home being fostered by a foster family or in our adoption center inside PetSmart Elk Grove at 8215 Laguna Boulevard. Our cats are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, have been tested for FELV/FIV, treated with a flea preventative, have been wormed and are micro-chipped. Their $150.00 adoption fee also includes micro-chip registration, a county license for Sacramento County residents, a free office visit with a participating veterinarian, a free bag of food, free nail trimmings FOR LIFE, PetSmart coupons, assorted toys, and other complimentary items.
