Mama Moo's Story
Mama Moo is truly the sweetest and best cat her foster has ever had the pleasure of having in her home.

Her stunning good looks are just the beginning of what makes her so unique. Mama poured her heart and soul into raising her 7 (yes 7!) baby cows who are some of the most well adjusted and gentle kittens there are. Since day one with her foster mom she's be chirpy and affectionate. She's quick to roll on her back and paw for attention.

Moo Moo will hop up in her people's lap when she's feeling needy and will look up at you with her sparkling green eyes letting you know it's time for pets. She has a gentle pur and sweet singsong-y meow.

She lovessss to play with all kinds of toys but has a perference for feathers and wand toys. She will play chase and wrestle with both her foster cat brother and (favorite) kittens. She definitely plays favorites and loves her boys Highland, Beefalo, and tiny girl Galloway.

She prefers a covered litter box and loves both dry and wet food.

She loves meeting new people and would be fine with a family with older children who can understand cat body language and respect her boundaries. She can get overstimulated with play but is easily redirected with toys.

She has lived with both a dog (60lbs) and 2 cats and while she can coexist with all she really does prefer to just be with her people. She would do well in a home with a playful and non confrontational cat or with an experienced cat owner who is skilled in slow intros.

She would be great in a duo with one of her kittens or adopted solo to an adopter of any experience level. Truly, she is the best and sweetest cat.

Vaccinated for FVRCP and Rabies. Microchipped and FeLV / FIV negative.

Mama Moo is scheduled for her spay on Thursday, October 30, 2023 at ASPCA - Qu eensCommunity Vet Clinic (36-02 14th Street, Queens 11106). Should she be adopted before then, their adopters will be responsible for bringing her to and from this appointment. Waggytail Rescue will cover the cost of this neuter appointment but any other vet appointments will be the adopters responsibility.

To apply for Mama Moo, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the animal is on our website, they are still available.

Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable cat, or final size of any of our adoptable kittens. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the cat into our rescue.

Adoptions: adopt@waggytailrescue.org
