Meet Mama Mia, a sweet and sounky 3-year-old beauty with a soft, classic tabby coat, adorned with charming white socks and the cutest white tip on her tail. Weighing just under 7 pounds, Mia is a petite lady with a gentle soul. She absolutely loves yummy treats and bumping her cut noggin on you as you offer her gentle pets. Though she may be a bit timid at first, her sweetness shines through, revealing a heart ready to trust and love with the right care and patience.

Mama Mia’s story is one of resilience. She spent much of her life outdoors in the country, bravely fending for herself and her family. This independent past means the cozy comforts of indoor life are still new and sometimes a little intimidating for her. But with time, understanding, and a calm environment, Mia is sure to flourish and find security in her forever home. Her shy demeanor is accompanied by a beautiful capacity for connection—she just needs the right family to help her take those steps toward trusting humans fully.

Mia is already spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV, FeLV, and Heartworm. Her adoption fee is $65. Please note that Mia isn’t fond of carriers, so bringing a larger one for her journey home is recommended. Mia is available for adoption here at Cascades Humane Society. We’re open Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 6 PM, with our last adoption processed at 5:30 PM. Walk-ins are always prioritized, and cardboard carriers are available for purchase.
