Mama Cass Maine Coon Mix Mission Viejo, CA

Mama Cass, aka Olive, is such a cuddle bug and would really love being someone's one and only. She loves sitting on our laps, snuggling on our pillows at night, and is so cuddly she will be the "little spoon" and snuggle right next to us. Cuddling in bed and kneading the air while getting head and cheek scratches is her fave. She's very affectionate and sends lots of cat kisses / winks throughout the day and cleans our hands to let us know we are family. She is about five years old now and loves to play with Da Bird and is very skilled at catching it.
She is absolutely obsessed with her "arch," a face scratching arch (we will send it with her). Besides cozying in next to us, her favorite activity is hands down being brushed, especially on the cheeks. She is very communicative and will let us know with an adorable squawk that brush time is not over! And, she gets so excited when she sees a brush in hand. Her purr is really beautiful and calming, it actually stands out as especially beautiful. And, she loves to watch birds during the day (we put a little feeder out to entertain her). She will chirp and chirp at them, it is super cute to watch!
With us, she is very gentle and patient. She is so good about letting us do hygiene stuff when needed, like the rare flea bath or butt or eyelid wipe down, and she is calm at the vet's. The one thing she doesn't like is fireworks. She hides during fireworks, and is surprisingly very appreciative of being found and held very closely during nearby fireworks. It stands out because she is otherwise the bravest, least phased cat around. She loves treats, but will pick human attention over treats. Her favorite wet food flavors are chicken and duck, and she dislikes tuna flavor but isn't a picky eater at all. We currently feed her mostly canned wet food from Whole Earth and a few similar brands with some dry food available (usually Whole Hearted).
She's mostly a vertical scratcher, so a vertical scratching post would be great. She'll leave furniture alone as long as the room has a scratching post in it (we do one in every room). She will get up from cat naps to greet us and always comes running when we open the door. She makes us feel so adored and loved, and we think even a human who doesn't "speak cat" would know how much they are loved by her.

Mama Cass is spayed, microchipped for ID, negative for FeLV/FIV, current on shots, dewormed and flea free.
