Mako suddenly appeared at a park colony in Northeast Philadelphia during the end of August, loudly meowing and racing back and forth to each of the colony cat’s food dishes, butting them out of the way to eat everything in sight. You'll never dine alone with this guy. Baby Mako Shark likes to share human food with or without your permission, especially vanilla ice-cream. Mako is a pretty chill and independent cat but he loves to be where the action is taking place and is extremely curious. He's an active guy, always on the move, who will follow you from room to room to see what you are up to and insist on exploring any opened door, cabinet, drawer, closet, or home appliance. Mako is an avid scratcher so he'll enjoy having a variety of scratching posts and boxes around the house. He is a toy aficionado as well loving any kind of feather teaser or small batting toys especially if they chirp or have catnip in them.

Mako gets along and plays with many other kinds of kitties wonderfully. He is easy to pick up, hold, and carry around the house even though he prefers to be on the move. He enjoys being pet, which is good because you will love to pet his silky fur. During his breaks from exploring, he will come when called and snooze behind you on the back of the couch. Mako is friendly and confident towards strangers.
