MaiTai's Story

MaiTai is a rockstar!! Not only was his picture featured in a coloring book, his unique story doesn't end there...
MaiTai came into our rescue, along with his mom and siblings, at 2 weeks of age...at 5 months, he was adopted by a lovely gentleman...at about a year or so old, while the gentleman was hospitalized, his crazy roommate threw MaiTai outside, to fend for himself...needless to say, the roommate got the "boot"...rightfully so!
Unfortunately, the constant and lengthy searches for him turned up nothing...it was devastating!
Fast forward 3+ years...MaiTai had been found, and scanned for a microchip!
I notified his owner immediately...he was so very happy to hear the good news! Unfortunately, he had moved quite far away, and due to some recent health issues, he was unable to take MaiTai back...we both agreed that the best thing to do, under the circumstances, was to find another home for him...
MaiTai is a handsome, curious, super-friendly and affectionate white/gray tabby...he is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations...if you would like to meet MaiTai, please contact Darlene at Port Orange Cats...386-334-6596
