Maeve Tortoiseshell & Calico Mix Wilsonville, OR

Maeve is a 3 1/2 year chatty Tortie/Calico whose memoir had a bump in the road and who now needs a happy next chapter. This stunning lady came to Meow Village at a year old and was adopted into what we, and Maeve, hoped was a forever home. Sometimes even the best intentions and most thorough plans get upended by, well...life. And when Meow Village was asked to bring Maeve back into the fold, everyone knew it was the best to say yes to this 3 1/2 year old sweetheart. Maeve's Foster Mom has learned so much about Maeve and what brings her joy and what is on her "No thank you" list. There was trauma and extreme anxiety in Maeve when she was returned. She now prefers a quite, peaceful home where the routine stays pretty the much the same day in and day out. This kitty is so easy to love. She has a knack for entertaining herself for most of the day, but will regale you in conversations about nothing in particular (Just pretend you understand and that makes Maeve happy). This sweet kitty wants to be next to you and near you, cuddling on the couch, and pressing her body against yours as you read, watch TV, crochet, or do whatever is it you like to do. Maeve's fur is lush, soft and thick and she enjoys a good brushing. It's so easy to get lost in her Peridot gem colored eyes. Things on the "No thank you" list are sitting on laps, loud noises and being held when she is not in the mood. An engaging environment of kitty cat enrichment will allow Maeve to bloom. Windows to look out of, toys to play with, tunnels to hide in and zoom through, hidden objects for her to "find", etc. Maeve's super power is her love of the water fountain. She will engage in water fountain play till your belly hurts from laughing. Don't believe Maeve when she tells you she can live on Temptations Treats alone.
