Meet Maddie

Super, special home needed! Rescuing kittens is very rewarding, but every now and again, we get some bad news that just breaks our hearts. A recently rescued litter of three did just that. Meet Maddie, Burt and Cassie. This adorable and friendly, 4-month old trio tested positive for feline leukemia (FeLV). Kittens can contract FeLV from their mom. Sometimes a kitten's immune system can fight it off, and sometimes not. Kittens with FeLV deserve a wonderful life, however, it will be short. FeLV is contagious so these cuties would love to be adopted together or they can live with another FeLV kitty. We're happy to give you more details.

Now onto Maddie... She's affectionate, playful, and confident and very people focused, she loves to give snuggles to her foster mom. We know Maddie will make a family very happy. All three kittens have a blast playing together in their special kitten room.
