Meet Lyric
LYRIC Female Approximately 1 to 3 years old
Single floofy female seeks the perfect guy, and/or reliable female staff!
Gorgeous Lyric is warming up to her foster mom, but her foster dad is her clear favourite. She is a unique little lady, not just in her markings, but also in her personality.
With her foster dad, she can be vocal when mewed at, rubs his legs and walks circles around him delivering a gentle love nip when denied attention. When lifted up, she will happily sit on his lap and purr her heart out. He has even been able to pick her up and hold her, but she is not a fan. She loves when he plays with her or brushes her beautiful coat. With her foster mom however, she tolerates pets (and her existence), will purr, but usually just runs away.
We think Lyric was semi-feral when she came into care, and has been with her foster family for over a year. She has been a big fan of her foster brother Tank, and would do well in a home with a friendly cat companion. She is playful with Tank, and also loves to chase her birdie!
Lyric needs a quiet, patient home without young children, as she is still figuring out how to cat. She has some way to go with fully trusting humans and has been known to give a hiss, or swat (with soft paws) if you are pushing her boundaries. Her little legs are quite short, so jumping up high is not her thing.
She is pretty clean with her litter box, but would do well with a covered box and mat outside the box to catch the litter tracked out on her fluffy little feet.
Lyric has been spayed, vaccinated, tattooed, microchipped, dewormed and Vet checked. Her medical records will accompany her upon adoption.
