Lyra Siamese Oklahoma City, OK

LYRA is a female, white lynx point, siamese mix around 6 months old. She is spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped.

Lyra has been around dogs, cats and kittens and would likely do best in a home where she can show off her demanding personality and get lots of love and affection. As with all our adoptions, a slow introduction in her new home (and to other animals) is still recommended.

Lyra became a Misfit when she was brought into our neonate program at just 5 weeks old with her other siblings. They were all very sick with parasites. Unfortunately, Lyra had a very difficult time gaining weight after we treated her for the parasites and our vets determined she had a severe infection. It took months of treatments, different medicines and bloodwork and to finally get Lyra back on track and healthy. She is doing fabulous now and looks absolutely wonderful!

For a kitten that has been through a lot in just 6 months, Lyra is sassy and full of vibrant life. She loves to demand attention from her favorite people via head boops, face licks, and sometimes a playful swat if the first two don’t get her desired result. She likes to play with the other kitties and can be a little rambunctious until it’s time to settle down for cuddle time. She has a fun personality and clearly lives life to the fullest, but honestly – she deserves it! We just know this stunning beauty is going to make someone super happy. She will steal your heart as soon as you meet her!
