Lute's Story

Meet Lute, the most magnificent lad of all! Lute is such an awesome dude. He loves to play and be around his human or kitty friends. This silly guy will reach out to grab your attention or chip to let you know he's excited. He is gentle, curious, and a total goofball. If you're lucky, he'll give you a little kiss. Although Lute was born with a deformity of the lower legs, he doesn't let it get in the way of him living life to the fullest! He has full sensation and can even still use his legs to scratch his head! He can also still get around, just at his own pace. He can't go up or down stairs, but no worries, he likes to be carried! Lute loves to be taken on new adventures. Since Lute has full sensation of the lower half, he knows when it's time to go to the potty. This smart guy uses a pee pad ALL ON HIS OWN! Yep, you heard me right. He just needs a human family willing to change it out for him. But hey, pretty comparable to scooping litter but without all the mess tracking all over! This guy loves to meet new people and is very adaptable. He has met dogs, cats, and kids which do not phase him! Lute needs to have a kitty buddy in his forever home as he loves to cuddle and play. Forever Fortunate Felines's Adoption Policy

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster-based, we really understand our cat's personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: https://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier that opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to accept PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
