It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.


LUNA LOVEGOOD and his 3 siblings (GEORGE WEASLEY - BELLATRIX LESTRANGE - FRED WEASLEY) were part of a huge TNR effort in Los Angeles County. The group TNRed all the adult cats and rescued moms and kittens. We were asked to find them good homes.


LUNA LOVEGOOD is now ready for her "FUREVER" home. FYI: Their foster mama named them after the movies series HARRY POTTER.


LUNA LOVEGOOD is a sweet love bug. And once she feels comfortable around her human, she likes to play with toys...her favorite being her fishing rod toys, and LOVES playing with her siblings. LUNA LOVEGOOD will stare at you and then you can pick her up. She has learned to trust people. LUNA LOVEGOOD loves being around other cats and feels the happiest when she is snuggled up in the cat tree or her little cat bed next to her human.

Our cute little love bug has been with us for most of her kitten life. She has been passed up because she's not a lap cat. She can be shy. but does love pets and to give her humans attention. But she loves toys, treats and soft pets. We know she will one day be some ones bff.


LUNA LOVEGOOD is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TURKSIH VAN MIX. She is about 20 months old. She is good with cats and non-reactive to with dogs. She has never been around children.

ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)
2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

MARCH 2024: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.


Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability.

The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated!

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.


Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.


We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

Spay
FVRCP shots
RABIES shot
FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control
Microchip


We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.
