Hello, my name is Luna. I am a very special kitty with so much love to give! I am looking a patient and loving forever home. At some point,I was abused and when I came to live with my foster mom I was very afraid of her hands. After a few months of patience I now love her pets and attention. We lay in bed and I head butt her and will even touch my nose to her nose. However, I still have my moments of being scared. I don’t like when she towers over me so she has to stay at my level for me to allow her to pet me. I am a very affectionate kitty and once I know I can trust you we’re going to have a great relationship. I need to live in a home with no other animals and no little kids. The calmer the home the better. Please consider giving me a chance to open up and live my best life.

**Suggestion: We typically recommend that when they first go home with you, they should be kept in a space where they can feel safe while getting used to the smells and sounds of their new home. A bedroom is the perfect example. Please spend lots of time with them so they can get to know you! This is the perfect time to give them treats, brush them, and play with toys such as wands and laser pointers. Once they have made themselves at home, feel free to open the door and let them explore the rest of their new home with you! This will set them up for success!
