What is Animal Adoption League’s adoption process?
Thank you for considering the Animal Adoption League to find a companion to become a part of your family. Our adoption process consists of submitting an application, having veterinary and personal references checked, a phone screen with the adoption/application coordinator and a home visit. We strive to match up the right dog or cat with the right family because we want to make GREAT and permanent matches. This is why we feel it is so important to be thorough during the application process. Our adoption fee varies depending on the animal. The fees help to cover the expenses the rescue incurs providing excellent vet care to all of the animals that come into our care. Our animals that are adopted out are up to date on all of his/her shots, spayed or neutered, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventative and temperament tested.
