Meet Lulu

My name is Lulu and I am a very petite and pretty young cat. I’m under a year old (born in late May or early June 2021) and playful and sweet. I’m pretty quiet and the thing I like the most is being around my foster mom. I’d love a family that doesn’t leave me home alone to much. I would be happy to keep my humans lap warm while they work. I do love to play with my foster cat friends too and I’m even ok with the dog. I’m very social and get along with everyone I meet. However, it’s very important that my new homes existing cat/dog is confirmed very friendly as well and not going to bully me. I have been in a bullying situation and it made me very stressed and sad and I had to hide all the time because I’m tiny and wouldn’t hurt a fly. I’d prefer to be loved by older humans (sorry no kids under 8 unless they are used to being respectful of cats) and in a relatively quiet home. I can be shy around new people and loud noises. I’d be ok as a only pet but only as long as my human promised to be home with me a lot. I’d be lonely otherwise. My foster family calls me the sweetest cat they know!
Please head to our website to fill out an application prior to sending an inquiry or asking to set up a meeting. (See application at http://nwac-oregon.org/our-adoption-process/) Once your adoption application is approved we will contact you to put you in touch with the foster family to ask any questions, set up an online meeting, or to set up a masked in person meet. If you submit an inquiry instead of an application, this will delay the process and increase the chance someone else will meet YOUR dream cat before you do! If we get an inquiry, we will ask you to fill out an application before we respond to questions.
-The $140 adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, de-worming, current flea treatment, current vaccines for their age, and a vet exam. Unless otherwise noted, they have also had a negative test for FIV and FeLV. Northwest Animal Companions is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the pets in our care.
