I'm Luigi and I was found as a stray at about 5 months old, so I'm still getting used to living in a home. When startled, I hiss to communicate my surprise, but I also sometimes hiss when I'm running up to my foster mom to get pets and cuddles. My foster mom says I might just be confused about appropriate social skills, since I have never scratched or been aggressive to anyone, including during nail trimming.

Everyday I get braver (and less hissy), but I am still easily startled, so a quiet, patient home without a lot of people in and out would be best for me. I like to snuggle and be carried like a baby. I love my dog foster brother and would do well in a house with a cat friendly dog. I have reached an impasse with one of my feline foster siblings, so with a careful introduction I could likely settle in with a calm cat who won't get too riled up. Young children would be too unpredictable for me, but I could be ok with an older child who knew to be patient and gentle with me.

My foster mom says that once you get used to my communication and know that I'm not aggressive, I am the absolute perfect snuggle buddy.
