Meet Lucy and Zoe

Lucy was born 3-1-2007 and is a very petite and sweet kitty at 6 lbs. She loves treats (especially chicken) so much, you might even be able to train her to do tricks! She will eat right out of your hand. When you start petting her she purrs sooo loudly and butts her head up against your hand for more. She has been doing great in her foster home along with her sister Zoe and has really come out of her shell. She is the more outgoing and affectionate of the two, and really loves attention and being pet. Once you earn her trust, she will playfully roll over on her back for a belly rub. She has a playful side too, but not quite like her crazy sister. She finds the odd things to play with like a roll of tape and she loves pushing it back and forth under the crack of a door. She also is happy just sitting on the couch watching the birds out the window. She would do best in a quiet home, but has been very well-behaved when rambunctious, young children have visited. Lucy was recently diagnosed with FIV, which doesn't limit her life much. She just cannot be adopted to a home with other cats (other than her "sister" Zoe) and must be housed indoors only. FIV is only transmissible to other cats via a bite. Feel free to read more about FIV here: http://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&S=0&C=0&A=1313

Zoe was born 3-1-2009 and is a very playful and cute kitty -- we even get asked if she’s still a kitten she is so tiny and cute! She goes nuts for her toy mouse, or just about any other toy she can bat around -- including any bugs she may find in the house! She is great entertainment as she jumps, runs, and pounces on her toys, and she loves jumping around the jungle gym of legs and crossbars under the dining room table and chairs. When she’s not busy playing, she is looking out the window, or watching the fish in the aquarium. Zoe is a shy cat, but she has made huge improvements since being in her foster home with her sister Lucy. She’s still a little cautious of getting too close to people, but she’s very curious and has a lot of potential -- she likes to come sit just a few feet away from you and watch her sister being pet, and she is slowly learning just how much she enjoys being pet too (she’s made huge strides from the days of hiding under the couch!). She would do great in a quiet and patient home -- with someone who will continue to work with her and show her a lot of love. It makes it that much more rewarding when you earn her trust and show her just how nice people can be to her!

Zoe and Lucy live together. Because they do better together, we need to be sure that they go to a home that can take both of them. A discounted rate (both for $150) will be given because they need to be adopted together. Thank you for considering making Lucy & Zoe part of your family!
