Meet Lucy
“Funny” story about LUCY. This tiny kitten was dumped on our front porch in a box in May; it was obvious she needed immediate vet care. When we brought her in, the vet said that a woman was there earlier with this same kitten wanting to drop it off! She was so tiny she weighed in at .9 lbs! The vet had given the woman a list of places to contact, but the woman decided to just drop it off at the first place listed. And so another kitten with the herpes virus in her eyes was being treated by Oasis; she is now cleared of the infection, can see well, and is a happy and playful little cat. She is a pretty, tortie colored feline with boundless energy. She purrs immediately upon being picked up, and enjoys the company of humans and other cats.
