Lucy Domestic Short Hair & Tuxedo Mix Cincinnati, OH

Lucy is 3 ½ month old domestic short hair black and white tuxedo kitten with white whiskers and white paws. She came to HART from a hoarding situation with her litter pal Linus. She is very social and a cuddle bug wanting to nap in your lap in the oddest of positions. She is a playful kitten that wants to be involved in everything that you or Linus is doing. Coming from a hoarding situation there wasn’t much opportunity for Lucy to learn the proper ways of the litter box. 99.9% of the time Lucy will use the litter box appropriately, it’s that .01% of the time that an adoptive family needs to be diligent about. Cat behaviorists recommend that there be one litter box for each cat in the house plus one, so Lucy will need at least two litters boxes and they need to be kept as clean as possible at all times. Lucy would do best adopted with her pal Linus, and it would be best they go into a home where there is not a lot of commotion, young children, due to Lucy’s bathroom anxiety’s.

HART recommends kittens under the age of 6 months be adopted in pairs.

All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
