Some people may think black cats are unlucky. But I’m different and that’s why my name is Luckie! My foster parents think I’m handsome and charming so they call me “Mr. Luckie”. I am a 7-year-old male with a beautiful, shiny black coat. Although I weigh approximately 15 pounds, I’m not fat. My foster parents consider me quite resilient and flexible as I adapted to my foster home within 3 days and now feel comfortable roaming the house. I’m litter box trained and love using my scratch box. I’m social and chatty at times and like to sit by the window and watch the activity in my neighborhood. I’m not really a lap cat, but perhaps in time with my “Furever Family”, I might become such.

Luckie has a sweet disposition and is well-adjusted to living indoors in a family setting. In terms of personality, he is neither needy nor reclusive. He enjoys interaction with family members who respect his quiet time and sleeps through the night. Luckie initially took about three days when he joined us to become comfortable with the location of his food, water and litter box. He has never had any "accidents", nor has he been destructive. An ideal Setting for Luckie might be one where he is involved with his family and is provided with adequate attention.

The $140 adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines for their age, and a vet exam. Negative test for FIV and FeLV.
