Here is Lucas today! LUCAS is a delightfully sweet kitty that is affectionate and hardly sheds at all. Easy to groom, child friendly and very sweet; loves -loves attention, and he has such personality, a so soft meow-meow and loves to rub up against people. He will throw himself on the floor to be petted and just loves company. He is a perfect companion cat. He seems to have a very calm personality. Uses his box and knows how to use a scratch post.. but loves to be petted for hours at a time and ready for his permanent home. However, he tested FIV positive- What is FIV- it’s a virus that stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. It is generally spread outdoors amongst cats that are not fixed through deep intense biting (during fights or mating). The virus is species specific and would only affect another cat. FIV positive cats can live indoors with other cats as long as the household is a calm one. They can live with dogs and of course with other FIV positive cats.
Please know that FIV cats live long and healthy lives as indoor cats only.

So if there any candidates wanting to give Lucas a forever loving home you would need to ensure he receives good consistent nutrition and regular veterinarian exams. Most importantly a low stress environment. We will provide attached information for further reading should you be interested.
Lastly, if it were not for a volunteer feeder who immediately recognized that Lucas was friendly cat that belongs indoors, he would have not had a second chance of living a healthy life as an indoor cat. BTW he is super friendly boy!
He is very quiet. We assume after vetting him that's he's rom 3-5 years old. Healthy, vaccinated, microchipped and available to a wonderful caring new Forever Home and warm loving family.
