Louis's Story

Louis is one of the four vampire boys litter. Don't worry he doesn't bite He does, however lick you constantly, especially in the morning when you're in bed. He says it's his kisses. He was rescued with his three brothers from a man who had gotten them fixed to release them with their mom, but when he went to release them, he realized that the Mom had already been killed by coyote and he didn't want to put these boys back out. It was the right call, however he put them in a large cage together and did not handle them for over a month and a half, so now these boys are learning that humans are for lap sitting and love. Just give him a few days and he will be purring, flopping over for belly rubs, and licking you. He's not a lap cat yet, although he might be as he ages, but he loves to hang out near you and he loves to play with wand toys! He also loves his brother Lestat and would prefer to go to a home with him, but would also be fine in a home with other cats and can coexist with respectful dogs (but probably won't be their BFF). A calm household without young kids would be best for him, since fast movements can still spook him. He might need a little more patience, time, and TLC than more outgoing kitties, but he's absolutely worth it.
