Loretta is a beautiful, affectionate kitten. She loves to rub on your ankles while you are working in the kitchen and she will sit on your lap and watch TV with you. She can be playful, enjoying both balls and springs. She also loves treats if you are inclined to give them to her. Loretta has been diagnosed with Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (FVR), a herpes virus infection. While the virus is not currently active in her, it is important to understand there is no cure for herpes virus infections. Medical management of the condition can reduce frequency and severity of recurrences and cats can lead a relatively normal life. It is important to ensure good nutrition and reduce stressful situations to minimize the chances of re-activating the virus. If the virus is re-activated, she can become contagious to other cats. It is recommended you work with your veterinary provider on the best plan. She is fixed, has had vaccines, FIV/FeLV tested (negative), and is microchipped. We want all our cats to go to good homes and for that reason we try to keep our adoption fees at a reasonable price.
