Meet Lord Bridgerton
We thought our sweetest, little itty-bitty, sleek, black kitten — found all by himself — deserved a big name. Lord Bridgerton, “Bridge” for short, comes from the popular historical TV drama series [i.e., soap opera], “Bridgerton,” set in an alternate early 1800s history where London is racially integrated and people of color are members of Britain's high society. Wealth, lust and betrayal. Aristocracy and power.
Bridge loves all the attention from the “big kid” kittens and household cats in his foster home. As do most kittens, he “suffers” from a syndrome known as FOMO — the fear of missing out! Bridge will follow you everywhere and is never, ever still… until he drops into a deep sleep from exhaustion, perhaps in your lap or perhaps in a soft and fluffy, crocheted woobie bed. Bridge has been known to pester you until you make room for him, if your lap is occupied and he's sleepy.
If you seek the loudest purr and want the cuddliest, hard-playing kitten there is, then Bridge is your guy. He definitely needs a companion (or two or more!), makes friends easily, and would do well with small (respectful) children. Bridge can even keep up with the little boys (or girls) in your family, and he's surprisingly gentle with his claws and teeth. Name a game, and Bridge can play it!
Don’t be surprised by gifts from Bridge, laid at your feet or at your neck while sleeping (thankfully toys and not dead mice!). He's an avid bird watcher, especially on big screen TV.
