Meet Lola and Isabelle (Bonded Pair) - Pending Adoption

Lola & Isabelle are black shorthair sisters, approximately one-year-old. Isabelle is a little bigger and “rounder” than Lola. They are often found sleeping together, piled up in beds they’ve outgrown, although they spend part of the day sleeping separately-usually in the afternoon.

They are playful and love to wrestle. Lola likes to play fetch with her favorite toy, a stuffed rabbit fur toy which she likes to play fetch with (she does bring it back and asks me to throw it again.) Isabelle is a little more independent, and she spends a lot of time monitoring the squirrels, birds, and bunnies in the yard.

Lola is an affectionate lap cat when she gets the chance to be. She loves to perch on her caretaker’s lap and be petted, especially on her cheeks. They don’t usually sleep in the human bed at night unless it’s really cold. But in the morning, when it’s getting to be breakfast time, they jump up on the bed and wait patiently. They never beg or pester, but they don’t want to wait a moment longer than they need to either. They know when dinner time is too. Currently, they get kibble for breakfast and wet food for dinner. They also enjoy the occasional treat.

They’ve got favorite perches on top of the bookcase, a triple-decker cat tree, and the window ledge. They like to be in the same room as their caretaker, and they will need a scratching post.

They are currently living in a home with one caretaker. Since they came into the house shortly before Covid, they have not had a lot of chance to socialize with many other people, and they are likely to need some time to warm up to someone new. They did wonderful at the most recent vet appointment; purring & snuggled up to the Vet techs. They sat curled together during their exams & ate treats. They are generally well adjusted, very normal cats: curious, busy, and friendly. They don’t have any particular special needs in a home, just someone who will be patient with them as they readjust.

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.

Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
