Meet Lola
Lola is officially looking for her forever home! This 13-year-old senior was found in one of our admin’s backyards, and we knew she deserved a safe and loving place to land.
Lola is a true companion cat—her favorite thing is simply sitting next to someone on the couch. She enjoys gentle head pets, but she’s also a lady who knows what she likes. Lola can be crabby at times and will let you know (with a hiss) when she doesn’t want to be touched, especially on her back or hips. She’s happiest with someone who respects her boundaries and appreciates her spunky personality. She would not do well with children, cats or dogs. She is extremely interested in what her foster is eating and always tries to involve herself when there is human food around.
Health-wise, Lola is doing well. She does have hyperthyroidism, which is managed with a small dose of transdermal medication rubbed into her ear once a day. She also needs to be the only pet in the home, as she doesn’t like to share her space.
If you’re looking for a sweet but sassy cat who just wants a cozy spot next to you, Lola might be the one!
