Meet Lola
If you're looking for an amazing 1-1.5 year old lap cat who loves to snuggle, little Lola the calico is your girl! Lola and her brother Charlie were living life outside in a feral colony. They were each being bullied by the alpha cats in the colony and were physically hurt by them. After I had trapped them, I realized that these two were not meant to be living outside being mistreated like that, they deserved a chance at a good life! So I brought them home from the vet and started working with them to see how they would do indoors and with people and other cats.
Lola instantly took to being an adoptive momma to a litter of kittens I had here, and even faux nursed them. She did amazing with the kittens, and is amazing with all humans, but has shown aggression towards adult cats, so she needs to be an only cat. She wants ALL the attention!
Apply online at cnycatcoalition.org/adoption/adoption-application (indicate you saw the cat on Petfinder and what the cat's name is). An application, including character references from non-relatives and your veterinarian (if you have current or previous pets), is required. Your donation of $75 ($95 if the cat is microchipped) will contribute to the cost of veterinary treatments the cat has received, such as spay/neuter, rabies and distemper vaccines, testing, deworming medication, and flea and ear mite treatments.
