What is Friends of Exeter Animals’s adoption process?

The Exeter Animal Shelter does not do same day adoptions.  In order to adopt there is a fee, but for a lifetime of happiness its worth it. Adoption fee is $75 for spayed/neutered pets. DO NOT APPLY ONLINE.  Please visit the shelter and apply in person after meeting the pet you wish to adopt. If you have any questions about the animals available at the shelter, please stop in to speak with one of the Animal Control Officers, or call the shelter at 401-294-2754. Email us at: animalshelter@exeterri.gov If you are interested in finding out more about volunteering with the Friend of the Exeter Animals or making a donation, please contact us at: Friendsofexeteranimals@yahoo.com The Exeter Animal Shelter is located on Rt. 2 in Exeter between the Veterans Cemetery and Schartners Farm. From the North - Take Rt. 95 South to Rt. 4. Take exit 5B (Rt102) and take a left at the light onto Rt 2. We're just a couple miles down.
