Lizzy B is doing so well in her longterm foster home, and it’s really nice to see her thriving. We’ve been able to learn a lot more about her sweet, quirky charm.
Her foster writes,

“Lizzy B gets stressed in the shelter environment, but she blossoms in a home! She is super affectionate and not a scaredy cat at all. She loves people!

She’s delightfully vocal and her favorite room is whichever one you are in. She doesn’t like other cats, but over several months she did learn to tolerate my resident cats.

She has perfect litter box manners, but does like to play with her water dish (which I think is pretty cute). Lizzy B loves giving head-butts, but can get over stimulated when you’re petting her, especially if you’re petting her back.

If you ignore her body language she can go in for a bite. But she will always tell you when she’s had enough pets, and if you respect her boundaries she is super sweet. Lizzy B will make a great ride or die companion!”



Lizzy B is a plush, confident lady who knows what she wants. And what Lizzy B wants is to be an only child. She cannot abide by even seeing other cats down the hall without feeling vexxed and annoyed .

If she were human, Lizzy B would probably be a school bus driver or a parole officer. She would like a job in which she could wear and ID on a lanyard and have a keychain with many, many keys. A snackroom (amply supplied) would also be high up on her list of must-haves

Lizzy B is very affectionate, until she is not, and then she will alert you the petting must stop. You will always know where you stand with this young lady, as she has no time for coyness and ambiguity.

Lizzy B is very smart, and she is very good at sizing up your character and the depth of your heart. If you love her, she will love you back a hundred times over.

Because Lizzy B wants respect and occasional boundaries (her "me time"), this queen would be happiest in an adult home with someone who is devoted to her.


Lizzy B has a sweet spot for people and a strong disdain for other cats. That may come from her prior life fending for herself outdoors when all she wanted was to be inside on the couch next to you. So, Lizzy B definitely just wants to be an only cat. But, in return, you’ll get a funny, spicy, loving girl who just wants to be as close to you as possible. She’s quite vocal and will tell you when she wants a belly rub and when you need to wrap things up. LOL. Come meet this queen.
