Meet Lisette

This little girl is Lisette, a straight eared Scottish fold. Her mom Juliette is a Scottish fold and Persian cat, and her sister is Josette. This little family came to our rescue from a devoted rescue in Kuwait.

Upon arrival here, our vet discovered that Lisette’s tummy seemed to be full of fluid. Upon further evaluation and testing, it was determined that Lisette had feline infectious peritonitis, which is fatal if not treated.

Poor little Lisette went through treatment that included daily injections - 84 of them. But she was a sweet little patient about getting those shots, and we bonded over it. Our vet caught Lisette’s problem very early, and Lisette responded well to treatment. She survived FIP, and has been doing well ever since. Her labwork showed that she is healthy, and the treatment worked.

Lisette is such an angel. She likes to play, eat, sleep, cuddle, explore - what more could you want in a cat?
