Lime Domestic Long Hair Mix Riverdale, NJ

Lime came to me severely malnourished and didn't have the best odds of surviving. He has grown from a scrawny, under-grown kitten that I would wake to check on in the middle of the night into a lovable, fluffy boy that loves nothing else than to cuddle with his humans and siblings. As a baby, he would "scream" at me, demanding food and attention, and I joked that "Lime" rhymed with "Whine" and he got them mixed up! Now he only meows when he wants cuddles. He is the first to greet me when I walk in a room, purring loudly enough for me to hear from afar, and is happy to flop over for a belly rub. Lime is a big fan of anything that moves, especially ribbons and balls, and will remain engaged for minutes on end (which is quite a feat for easily distracted kittens!). Lime is looking for a home that will love him as much as he will love them (and that's a LOT), he has had some exposure to a large dog and is curious to become friends, and he would be fine with children! He also knows his name (or at least when you sound excited and sing out his name to him ("Lime! Limey!"), and he'll immediately bound over, purring, to say hello.
