Meet Lily
Lily is a playful 5-year-old orange tabby looking for the perfect home where she can bloom.
Lily will sow her playful enthusiasm as she weaves in and out of the nooks of the home. Her favorite toy is her string toy, dragged on the ground, always just barely in her reach. After playtime, she goes for some watering (drinking) then settles herself on a windowsill for optimal contentment in the full sun.
Lily is currently on a regimen of anti-anxiety medication (Fluoxetine, approximately $15 per month) to ensure that her dramatic fight-or-flight response can be deadheaded in favor of a calmer reaction. Lily had a traumatic stay in a shelter, which has had lasting effects of putting her on edge when she feels cornered, stalked or threatened. However, with patience and a calm home, she slowly learns to trust, and even become loyal to, her humans.
Lily will need to be transplanted into a home with no other animals and no kids. With her anxiety, a calmer, quieter, and patient home provides perfect conditions for her to fully bloom into her magnificent self.
Lily is a cautious cat searching for a home with perennial patience, and lots of love to help bring this sweet girl from shy sapling to the confident cat she is meant to be.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.
Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
