Meet Lilu

Lilu was rescued from the Valencia County shelter when the shelter was at capacity. She was at risk for euthanasia so we were glad that we got her when we did. The shelter thought she was only 4 years old, but our vet says she was born 11/7/17.

Lilu takes a while to warm up to people and she is very independent. She is not a lap cat and prefers to live life on her terms. She is friendly and playful when she wants to be. She is quiet and would be good company for a senior citizen who likes to have a cat in the house but doesn't want one that is demanding of your time. She has been around other cats and was tolerant of the cats in the home. She would be ok as the only cat or in a home with a mellow cat who won't bother her. She is not going to be another cat's best friend nor will she sleep with them, as she likes to be by herself.

Lilu also has had kidney stones and needs to be on the prescription diet C/D or another urinary tract diet to keep her from getting kidney stones again.

Lilu currently lives in a foster home. If you have any questions about Lilu, please contact us so we can get you in touch with her foster mom.

Lilu is up to date on her shots, microchipped and is spayed.
