Meet Lilly – A 4 year old Gentle Soul Looking for a Loving Home I’m Lilly, a quiet and sweet girl who’s learning to put my best paw forward. People can be kind, and I’m slowly discovering that with a little patience, I can feel safe and loved. I was adopted and making great progress with my new mom when she unexpectedly passed away. It was a scary time, but my foster family welcomed me back with open arms, and I’ve been enjoying watching birds from the window and lounging around the house. I love gentle pets from my foster family and currently live with two other shy cats. I’d love a quiet home with a patient person who understands that I need time to come out of my shell. Loud noises and busy environments aren’t really my thing, so a home without young children would be best for me. I’ve never met a dog before, but I might be okay with a calm, respectful one. I'd love to be your one and only and soak up all the attention. If you have the patience to let me blossom at my own pace, I promise to reward you with love and companionship. They are mixed breed unless otherwise noted. If a cat or kitten is designated as a particular breed we do not have papers to verify the breed information. We assign breeds to our cats and kittens based on similar appearance, size, and temperament as described in the breed description of a purebred cat. Our adoption fee is $120.00 for kittens under 1 year (2 for $200), $100 for cats over 1 year (2 for $180), and $150 - $250 for exotic breed cats or kittens. We do not have our own spay/neuter clinic so the adoption fee we charge helps our rescue pay for a portion of vet fees incurred to prepare a cat or kitten for adoption. The adoption fee includes a wellness exam, spay or neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, FeLV and FIV testing (negative/negative unless otherwise noted), treatment for parasites (fleas, ticks, intestinal worms, ear mites), and microchipping.

Cats R Us, Inc's Adoption Policy

Please take a few moments to read the following explanation of our adoption policies and the steps that make up the adoption process. It is important that potential adoptees understand two things: 1. The process is the same for everyone; and 2. It is not our intent to frustrate you, rather, everything we do is for the best interests of the cats in our care, and is aimed at giving our rescues the best possible chance at finding a permanent home. The procedure is as follows: 1. Potential adopters are asked to complete an adoption application. 2. A Cats R Us representative will go over the application to see if the cat or kitten is a good match for the potential adopter(s) home. 3. If there are already other animals in the home, the veterinarian listed on the adoption application will be contacted to check that animals in the adoptive home are up to date on vaccinations and are spayed or neutered. This process is simply to protect the health of the potential adoptee and the companion animals already owned. 4. Providing all goes well, an appointment for a home visit will be arranged and the adoption will take place at this time.
